Alexis Caughey has extensive litigation experience covering a broad range of topics and currently focuses on general liability defense and construction defect litigation. She is a native Houstonian, and after graduating from the University of Houston Law Center, she moved to the Dallas area for the first three years of her legal career. In Dallas, Ms. Caughey worked for a small law firm practicing business litigation. She and her family then moved to New Orleans, La., where she spent five years honing her litigation skills. In Louisiana, her caseload included premises liability, products liability, construction defects, trucking accidents, medical malpractice and employment disputes. After moving home to Houston, Ms. Caughey joined Fee Smith’s Houston office, where she defends the firm’s clients on a broad range of general liability issues.
In her free time, Ms. Caughey spends time with her husband and two young children.
