After receiving his J.D. from South Texas College of Law, Mr. Livingston began his career practicing criminal law in Houston. He represented clients charged with various crimes in Harris County, Texas. He also served as a contract attorney with a criminal defense firm, and assisted the firm in their role as lead counsel defending a client charged with running a $7 billion Ponzi scheme.
Currently, Mr. Livingston's practice is focused on litigation, where he primarily defends individuals and businesses in commercial litigation matters including transportation liability, construction liability, commercial disputes and general insurance defense. Specifically, Mr. Livingston serves as defense counsel in cases involving tractor-trailers, commercial trucks, construction defects, construction site accidents and motor vehicle accidents. He has experience in every aspect of litigation, from pre-suit evaluation and negotiation, to discovery and motion practice, as well as mediations and preparing a case for trial before both judge and jury.
Mr. Livingston is licensed to practice in Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He is a member of the Texas State Bar, the Dallas Young Lawyers Association and the Texas Aggie Bar Association.
