Ms. McDermott is a trial lawyer specializing in employment and commercial litigation matters. Ms. McDermott has obtained favorable results for her clients through negotiated settlements, dismissal at the pleading stages, summary judgment, trial, and appeal.
Prior to joining Fee, Smith, Sharp and Vitullo LLP, Ms. McDermott worked as a litigation associate at the Los Angeles office of a leading California law firm, where she represented employers in discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour litigation. Before that, Ms. McDermott served as a prosecutor at the Anaheim City Attorney’s Office through the Los Angeles County Bar Association Trial Advocacy Project. In law school, Ms. McDermott was a member of the Texas Law Review.
