Mr. Boyd joined the firm in 2012. His practice focuses on litigation, primarily in the areas of construction defects, commercial litigation, and premises liability and personal injury.
He is active in the Austin community, having served on the board of the Austin Young Lawyers Association and in leadership roles with the Solo-Small Firm and Animal Welfare committees of the Austin Bar Association. He is currently active in the Robert W. Calvert American Inn of Court, Texas Bar Foundation and the Construction Law Section of the Austin Bar Association, and he participates in service activities through local bar organizations.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Boyd clerked at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, and for Justice Nathan L. Hecht at the Supreme Court of Texas.
In law school, Mr. Boyd was an honors student, associate editor of the Texas Law Review, and award-winning brief writer.
