In representing both national and local restaurant, hospitality and retailer clients in the Southwest region, FS&S has developed a reputation of aggressively defending premises liability cases. The key to the firm's success in the premises liability arena is consistently utilizing Texas legislation and case law, which often favors the defense. The attorneys in the FS&S Premises Liability Group have successfully defended retail and hospitality clients in cases involving a variety of issues, including security matters, wrongful detention/arrest, dram shop cases and food contamination, as well as slip and fall cases.

 

In addition to defending litigation matters, the attorneys of FS&S also assist in developing and revising policies and procedures for retail/hospitality/restaurant clients. Due to the firm's extensive experience in defending national retailers and hospitality corporations, we are able to draft effective policies, procedures and warnings that not only assist with business operations but also serve as useful tools in litigation. We find that an active approach in analyzing the policies of a company will assist in defending any potential lawsuit.
