Scott Hall has extensive state and federal civil litigation experience and concentrates his practice on the defense of personal injury and wrongful death cases. Prior to completing law school, Mr. Hall obtained over a decade of litigation and claims experience as a certificated paralegal at Houston law firms and a claims adjuster at international shipping companies engaged in the ownership and operation of tanker vessels, bulk carriers, car carriers and Roll On/Roll Off vessels.
Won summary judgment in favor of Jones Act employer in maritime personal injury lawsuit and successfully prevailed on appeal of judgment to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Won summary judgments in favor of vessel owners in longshoreman personal injury lawsuits.
Obtained summary judgment dismissal of multiple corporate defendants in lawsuit asserting causes of action for breach of contract, defamation, commercial disparagement, common law unfair competition, tortious interference with existing business contracts and tortious interference with prospective business relations.
